SUMMARY Twenty five patients diagnosed paraquat o gramoxone intoxication were treated with a new protocol in this included N-acetilcisteine, hydrocortisone, colchicines and vitamins C and E and the result were the following: 14 patients were discharge cured, 9 requested discharge without medical advice and 2 expired due to multiple medical problems The treatment was established following the following requirements: 1.-That the doses ingested was less than 50 ml. 2.- That the patients was seen in ER within 24 hrs. 3.- That the patient did not had pulmonary fibrosis. The treatment lasted 15 to 21 days. The implementation of the new protocol it has been successful due to seriousness do the intoxications for paraquat o gramoxone.
