SUMMARY When a patient, with D.M. develops lesions the skin of the foot, these represent, the beginning, of a cronic, condition namely the "diabetic foot", which is not always easy t treat in the dermatologist, in the outpatient clinic. Metabolic control and foot care area most important in the treatment of the diabetic foot.
