Abstract

The efforts of the organism to repair inductive injuries by local aggressions, start very early with inflammation and ends with the reparation and substitution of the damaged cells. Cicatrisation involves two steps: regeneration and substitution by connective tissue, the factors that support it care: cell migration, nutritional condition, and the lack of infections. The objective of this investigation is to know better the immune factors that accelerate this process with the direct participation of nutritional and immunity elements. Was made an experimental pattern using three rabbits in different immune conditions. The investigators made a mid laparotomy implanting collagen as a way of cicatrisation supporter. We demonstrated that the process of cicatrisation improves proportionally with good nutritional and immune conditions besides the implantation of a connective tissue base. The rabbits that showed faster and better consolidation, were the ones with a better nutrition and inmunecompetence. Through a microscope, it was observed a larger presence of connective tissue and a better epidermic regeneration in the borders of the wound.
