Abstract The main objective of this article is to compare the degree of satisfaction of the students of the Systems Engineering career of the UPEA with respect to the modality of virtual classes due to socio-economic factors in their learning process as a result of the suspension of academic activities. of face-to-face classes as an effect of the COVID-19 virus. The study is ofa descriptive type with a non-experimental cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach, the results obtained show 32 items, defined in two variables: Student satisfaction and Class modality. As a result you have; In general, the degree of satisfaction in the majority of the students is in the medium category (>50%), the degree of satisfaction is higher in the students who take the classes in their own home, it can also be pointed out about the type offinancing the Internet connection, satisfaction is higher in students who are financed by a third party (parent, guardian or other) in relation to those who pay on their own or have a shared payment, they showed, students who have a Own device to pass the virtual classes are those who have a higher degree of satisfaction and not so those who have shared devices. In conclusion, the research allows us to compare the level of satisfaction by socioeconomic factors
