    Resumen

VEGA FLORES, Carmen. Factorial analysis of the degree of satisfaction of the students of the Systems Engineering Career of the UPEA with respect to the virtual class modality. Revista Varianza [online]. 2022, n.19, pp. 55-67. ISSN 9876-6789.

Abstract The objective of this article is to identify the factors associated with the degree of satisfaction of the students of the Systems Engineering career at UPEA in their learning process in the virtual class modality, as a result of the suspension of face-to-face classes produced by the Covid-19 virus. The study was descriptive with a non-experimental cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach, the results obtained show 32 variables (items) summarized in 4 factors calculated from the multivariate technique of factor analysis, it is determined that student satisfaction with the modality of virtual class depends firstly on the skills and competencies of the teacher with a contribution of 49.973% (1st factor), secondly on virtual learning resources with aparticipation of 6.034% (2nd factor) and thirdly of the quality of internet service with a contribution of 4.686% (3rd factor). Regarding the significance of the dependence of the degree of satisfaction of virtual teaching in relation to the traditional teaching method, the verification is through a Chi Square test, the significance is 0.000, which confirms the relationship that exists between both variables, then the Spearman test indicates 88.77%, which is significant with a 95% strong positive relationship between the variables student satisfaction and the virtual class modality, finally, when verifying the hypothesis, it is confirmed that the factorial analysis technique is appropriate and admissible for the application of the data, that is: thanks to the KMO coefficient of 0.969 (≥0.7) as well as the Bartlet sphericity test with a significance of the sphericity test is 0.000 (≤0.05)

Palabras llave : KMO coefficient; Bartlett's sphericity; factors; traditional teaching.
