    For work entitled "Determination of the antibacterial activity of three varieties of lemon (Citrus limon (L) Osbeck, Citrus limon (L) Osbeck in combination with Citrus reticulated and Citrus medical L.) against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli" the essential and macerated leaf, seed and lemon peel oil were obtained. The results show that against Staphylococcus aureus the essential oil and the macerated obtained from the leaves and peel of the three varieties present antibacterial activity and not from the seed. Against Escherichia coli essential oil obtained from the three varieties it presents antibacterial activity, and not from the seed. The variety Citrus lemon (L) Osbeck combined with Citrus reticulated and Citrus medical (L) presents activity from the peel. The macerated against Escherichia coli does not present antibacterial activity.
