This work shows the steps and theory of the development of a Bonwill that the students of Dental Mechanics Department at UCEBOL University follow. This is to demonstrate the importance of recovering the functionality of the oral cavity, which is essential for the well-being of the patient and the first, but not the only thing to be achieved with a Bonwill. The functions to be recovered are: effective mastication (efficient crushing of food) without the prosthesis interfering in ingestion, since both functions directly influent on something as fundamental as the food is, then to obtain a phonetic adequate to allow the patient a correct diction, without the prosthesis interfering in it, quite the contrary, to make it possible.
