CABRAL EGUEZ, ANA  y  MORALES RODRIGUEZ, CARMEN ROXANA. Evaluación del cumplimiento de las normas bolivianas en las etiquetas de las bebidas alcohólicas fermentadas y destiladas de la ciudad de Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia, 20111. Univ. Cienc. Soc. [online]. 2013, n.10, pp. 15-23. ISSN 8888-8888.

The assessment of compliance with the Bolivian standards on the labels of fermented and distilled alcoholic beverages in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia, started in March and ended in December 2011, was taken as the supermarket Hipermaxi population located in 4th Avenue two-way ring to La Guardia, and wholesale stores that sell alcoholic beverages located on the 2nd ring February 26th Avenue, between Avenue Grigotá and Charagua street from Ramada Market. Guides were prepared for observation and recording verification of compliance on major labels fermented alcoholic beverages: wines from diverse national and most commercial distilled alcoholic beverages: as singanis and rum, through subsequent data analysis, allow us to present the following conclusion: 100% of the content of information provided labels fermented alcoholic beverages (wine) and distilled (Ron and Singani) that are sold in the supermarket "Hipermaxi" wholesale market and shops "the Ramada "of the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, not fully comply with the requirements referred to in the Bolivian standards. All aspects studied lead us to conclude that there is a breach of labeling of the drinks trade names evaluated, this makes it clear that these are products that do not pass through a strict quality check on compliance with existing standards, and the contents therein may be adulterated and cause damage, which becomes a danger to the health of the population.
