Summary In the present work, the livestock economic potential in the Charazani municipality was identified, which generates 29 million Gross Production Valué, the livestock sector contributes 34.74% (10,198,477.45 Bs). In the most relevant producís of livestock production, the breeding of alpacas leads 10.0% (2,938,834.75 Bs.), Honey 9.3% (2,720,367.53 Bs.), Alpaca fiber 5.1% (1,504,777.52 Bs.), Cattle 5.1% (1,499,561.94 Bs.), Sheep 3.2% (927,782.08 Bs.), Llamas 1.9% (547,819.5 Bs) Porcine farm (22,946, 85 Bs.), goats (18,370.65 Bs.), llama fiber (15,571.29 Bs.), sheep wool (2,215, 69 Bs.). The municipality of Charazani has 42 communities, among them Entre Ríos stands out with 4,173 heads of alpacas and the Huato community with 1,347 heads of Llamas. And among all the communities they make a total of 31,599 heads of alpacas and 3,948 of llamas.
