Summary Quinoa is the main product in the diet of Bolivians, especially in the western región. The present work has the purpose of systematizing the research carried out in the last twenty years sponsored by the Faculty of Agronomy of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés. The main objective of this work is: To carry out the systematization of the research work carried out in the cultured quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd) sponsored by the Faculty of Agronomy of the U.M.S.A. Also, analyze the thesis and directed work carried out in the cultivation of quinoa according to the thematic axis: research, transformation / added valué, and local knowledge. The methodology was based on the following aspects: Planning, Analysis, and interpretation of the investigations in quinoa. Regarding the results obtained: 105 investigations in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd) were analyzed, until the period 2019, which are found in the repository of the Faculty of Agronomy. In relation to the three thematic axes, mention that there is the research axis; 93 studies representing 88%; in transformation / added valué, 7 investigations were carried out representing 7% and in local knowledge; 5 investigations were registered, representing 5%. The following categories were considered in the thematic axis of research; improvement there are 60 investigations, it represents 57%; entomology 8 studies represent 7%; economy 8 investigations that represent 7%; phytopathology 5%; zootechnics 5%: climate change 4%; mixed crops 2% and 1% in nutrition; In terms of local knowledge, there are 5 studies in improvement, which represents 5%. According to the existence of the documents analyzed per year; in the periods firom 2000 to 2008 there were 23 studies, later in 2013 to 2019 51 studies were witnessed.
