Abstract The environment and daily life of people has been surrounded by effort, dedication and time to work, that requires a physical wear and tear for which the human being needs to feed, however daily life shows a different view of food, which Shows that junk foods, fried foods, fats perform a high rate of obesity, because they have more amenities and facilities to obtain food, most of the inhabitants make their preparations with recipes. The vegetarian gastronomy system (SGV) is an expert system for plant selection and nutritional control developed in MATLAB. The operation of the expert system will allow to make several conclusions of natural foods that are divided into five different preparations that are: Traditional Dishes, Soups or Creams, Desserts, Doughs or Breads and juices which distributes results depending on the variables that are determined to choose from one Vegetarian food, according to the selection that will be made the search and will have the result of the desired goal of healthy eating
