RUIZ CHICO, José; PENA SA, Antonio Rafael y JIMENEZ GARCIA, Mercedes. Influence of agricultural factors of production on the emission of greenhouse gases worldwide. Oikos Polis [online]. 2017, vol.2, n.2, pp. 31-64. ISSN 2415-2250.
Abstract: In today's world, the environment is an important concern, with a view to the sustainability of our planet. A very relevant aspect is the control of greenhouse gases emissions, which will be studied in the agricultural sector, analysing its inputs and outputs from an economic perspective. With such aims in mind, using data from Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as main source, several analyses have been performed such as econometrics or cluster analysis, with a sample of 48 countries worldwide. In conclusion, the relationship between the evolution of the importance of agriculture and these gases emissions can be verified. Similarly, a greater commitment of developed countries is appreciated.
