    Abstract

    Abstract Over the last decades, different regulatory regulations affecting agro food sector have been introduced. This document analyzes the regulations’ effects and how the environmental protection affects the innovation of the sector, since a greater governmental regulation could imply an increase of the quality of the product, increasing its differentiation and improving the competitiveness.
