    Resumen

GAYTAN ALFARO, Edgar David; MENDOZA SANCHEZ, Mario Alberto  y  VARGAS SANCHEZ, Juan Roberto. Mining and productive chains in Mexico: a comparative study using input-output state models. Revista de coyuntura y perspectivas [online]. 2018, vol.3, n.2, pp. 2-32. ISSN 2415-0622.

Abstract Based on the comparative study of the state matrices of Hidalgo, Sonora and Zacatecas, the document analyzes the productive network derived from the mining activity in the referred entities. The object study delimitation results from the consideration of entities with a productive mining profile belonging to different economic zones of Mexico: north, center-north and center. Following a network approach with multivariate data techniques applied to the intersectoral flows submatrices of the states in question, the present study determines whether, in effect, the mining activity generates linkages in the productive structure and, if, eventually, by its power (limited or extended) of sectoral articulation, supply networks can be established tending to the the productive plant diversification. The last instance objective is creating a reference frame that favors the emergence of transcendental supplies schemes coadjuvant with the mining activity.
