This article addresses political communication and communication for social change by analyzing the institutional-organizational public information of the municipality of La Paz. The research focused on the communicational management of the Mayor's Office in District 3 of the Macro-District of Cotahuma. This work established that the edil information focuses on the delivery of works and allocates little space to social programs and projects. In addition, it detected that political conflicts prevent the timely socialization of municipal information.
