Walter Benjamin exposed the theory of aura in art, a quality that makes art an art. The encounter between the artist and the divine, the here and now, the skill with which a work of art has been created are part of the aura. The Frida Kahlo Corporation has exposed the image and paintings of Frida Kahlo to the mases, turning them into a profitable merchandise. Is the 21st century the Frida Kahlo Corporation a sample of the decline of the aura, according to Benjamin's ideas, in the art of Frida Kahlo? Is this transition the loss of the aura?
