This article analyzes how the use of Facebook has contributed in the reconfiguration of private and public, through the exhibition of relationships between men and women, youth and adults. The concepts of public and private had changed through history with the increase of technology. In thecurrent days, this process has speed up with the growth of virtual social networks and with the intensification of Modernity's consequences, proposed by A. Giddens. Thus, the private sphere has been reconfigured in part by the services that Facebook offers to its users. This article analyzes this process.
