This text pretends to be a contribution to the last version of the classic "Oraciones a quemarropa" of Luis Espinal (2015). This text started to be distributed during the brief visit of Papa Francisco, in Bolivia, in July 8th. In order to do so, this article analyses a relevant contribution of Luis Espinal's work, his sculptures, as the one that President Morales gave to Pope Francisco, during his visit to Bolivia. This way, it looks to understand the expressions of a relevant actor as Luis Espinal, through his texts and his wood sculpting.
