    Resumen

ALVAREZ CHOQUE, Eloy Guillermo  y  GARCIA APAZA, Emilio. Population distribution of mycorrhizae in the crops of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum) and quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) affected by climate change in the municipality of Patacamaya. RIIARn [online]. 2018, vol.5, n.1, pp. 71-78. ISSN 2409-1618.

The low production in the highlands is resulting in poor nutrient adsorption, overcome with the management of soils at rest, and this indirectly influences the mycorrhiza population. The objectives of the work are a) to determine the population density of mycorrhizae in potato and quinoa crops, b) to analyze the variability of precipitation and its relation to the mycorrhiza population, and c) to evaluate the population relation of mycorrhizae with yield. The research was developed in the communities of Alto Patacamaya and Collpa Huancarani, the methodology consisted in taking samples of rhizospheric soil from potato and quinoa plots for laboratory analysis. The highest density of mycorrhizae is found in the soils of the potato crop in Alto Patacamaya with 684 spores 100g-1 of soil, in Collpa Huancarani with 652 spores 100g-1 ofsoil. In the quinoa crop the highest mycorrhizal density was in Alto Patacamaya with 292 spores 100g-1 ofsoil, in Collpa Huancarani with 276 spores 100g-1 ofsoil. For potato cultivation, in Alto Patacamaya precipitation was 5.56 mm, humidity of 5.9% and 684 spores 100g-1 ofsoil; in Collpa Huancarani the precipitation was 4.9 mm, humidity of 5.2% and 652 spores 100g-1 of soil. For the cultivation of quinoa, in Alto Patacamaya there was a rainfall of 2.7 mm, humidity of 3.0% and 292 spores 100g-1 ofsoil, in Collpa Huancarani the precipitation was 3 mm, humidity of 3.4% and 276 spores 100g-1 ofsoil. The correlation of mycorrhizal influence on potato and quinoa yield was R2 = 0.0056 for Alto Patacamaya and R2 = 0.2661 for Collpa Huancarani. The research shows differences in the population of mycorrhizae in the cultivation of potatoes and quinoa, as well as in the study communities.
