QUIROGA PEREZ, Nancy. Educational software to support quality teaching-learning process of the subject of discrete algebra career in Engineering Systems. Rev. Cient. Mult. Adas [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.4, pp. 144-150. ISSN 2309-3153.

Discrete Algebra the course has been taught in a traditional manner and resources looking everyday some-times monotonous and passive matter so could somehow affect the performance and student interest. The study population was divided into two groups: Control (students who completed the course in previous academic procedures without the use of digital resources) and Experimental (with the use of educational software). The instruments used were surveys with closed booklet answers and records at each stage ofthe investigation. The results show that the control group has an average in the course of 59 points while the pilot had 73 points due to digital teaching resources used in the investigation. At the end of the study it can be concluded that the incorporation of technological resources in the teaching-learning process has benefits: a) Improved academic performance, b) Use of technological tools in line with what exists in the market impacting positively on self personal esteem of the student, c) encourages meaningful learning, since it takes the good work with the ICT and apply in practice d) Represents for teachers useful support, complementary and consistent with the digital age today we live.
