QUISPE, Gonzalo et al. Identificación de genotipos de trigo para zonas semiáridas del área tradicional de Bolivia. Info INIAF [online]. 2015, vol.1, n.6, pp. 61-67. ISSN 2308-250X.
In order to select and identify staple genotypes with high performance in a wide range of environments, the 20 SAWYT nursery was introduced from CIMMYT. These lines were studied in 20 locations in the traditional area by the National Wheat Program for a period of three years (2012-2015). About 20 variables between qualitative and quantitative were registered which allowed to know the attributes of each line. The univariate and multivariate method of GGEBiplot was applied (Yan et al., 2002). The last one has the ability to group locations and to show the pattern of behavior of the best cultivars for each environment. During the second year of evaluation, among the 15 lines, the following ones expressed a superiority in grain yield to the check Tepoca T89, such as: L311, L333, L327, L347, L313, L329, L339, L321, L331, L307, L315, L324, L322 and L334. For the 15 evaluated lines in 2014-2015, three of them showed superior performance in environments of low and high productivity. The L313 has an outstanding stability and high yields, followed by the L327 and L315 which showed a favorable trend in areas where wheat farming is restricted by environmental conditions.
