ESCOBAR, Carla; MARZA, Félix; BUTRON, Roberto y QUISPE, Félix. Identificación de líneas promisorias en trigos biofortificados en la Estación Experimental de San Benito. Info INIAF [online]. 2015, vol.1, n.6, pp. 48-53. ISSN 2308-250X.
This research objective was to identify promising lines of biofortified wheat. The genetic material under study was 100 advanced lines of wheat for the nursery 6-HPAN (Harvest Plus Advance Nursery), evaluated at the Experimental Station San Benito of Cochabamba. The methodology applied was rows by entry. The variables evaluated were: Plant height (AP), number of plants per meter (NPM), spike length (LE) pin density (DES), number of grains per ear (NGE), grain size (TGR), type of grain (TG), weight of thousand kernels (PMG), test weight (PH) and grain yield (yield). The evaluation was performed using descriptive and multivariate analysis. Coefficients highly significant positive correlation (p <0.01) for the variables spike length number of grains per spike (0.69) yield plant height (0.62), spike length were found to yield ( 0.61), plant height with spike length (0.55) and plant height with grain per spike (0.54). The genotypes identified by their high productivity were the L1, L98, L100 and L93 lines with yields of 2.830, 2.270, 2.220 and 1.820 kg*ha-1 respectively.
