The objective of this research was to evaluate the performance of 138 lines of bread wheat from 29th SAWSN nursery introduced from CIMMYT. This work was done between 2011-2012 crop year, in four locations in the departments of Cochabamba and Chuquisaca. The variables assessed and analyzed were: number of tillers (NM), plant habit (PP), precocity (P), plant height (AP) pins per meter (NEM), length of ears (LE), position pin (PE), density pin (DES), color of grain (CG), spikelets per spike (NEE), grains per ear (NGE), grain size (TGR), type of grain (TG), edge length (LA), weight of thousand grains (PMG), test weight (PH) and grain yield (yield). Statistical tools like descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis was used. The correlated variables were discomposed in two main components explaining 35.6% of the total cumulative variance. Based on the wheat performance and analysis performed in the population, fifteen lines of wheat were identified by their promising performance for yield which reached up to 2,500 kg*ha^-1.
