    Resumen

MORON GALARZA, Fabiola Erika; MORON R., Erick  y  IQUIZE V., Edwin. Evaluación biológica del qauchi (Suaedafruticosa Moq.) al incremento de la salinidad asociada al tipo de suelo y estado de la semilla. Info INIAF [online]. 2014, vol.1, n.4, pp. 81-91. ISSN 2308-250X.

One of the problems affecting agriculture is salinity, on the other hand the Qauchi (Suaeda fruticosa Moq.) Halophyte species constitutes alternative forage, therefore the present study was to know the limits of tolerance forthe Qauchi and evaluate the biological response of three concentrations of sodium chloride on two types of soil associated with the State of seed (technically flowers with stamens, clean and embryos), its effect on germination and growth phenology in three phases. In phase 1 (seeding): effects of soil factors and concentrations of salt were highly significant, indicating that the higher emergency present in agricultural soil is the best physical, chemical characteristics that favor this process. In phase 2 (transplant) vegetative response of the variable growth in length, stem thickens, leaf development in the stem is greater with the concentration of 2g/l NaCl, indicating in agricultural soil must be greater development than the saline, due to favorable soil conditions that influence its growth and development. In phase 3 (germination), the state of seed, the concentration of NaCl levels had significant effect. In this sense, it is necessary to perform seeding tests in field, with respect to tolerance to salinity, a detailed study of the levels of salinity in which soils area can identify sites with this problem.
