The present research was developed in Samaipata's municipality (Santa Cruz de la Sierra), during 2010' summer, for evaluate and select of bean's new lines with participation of farmers, like a new approach in research. The bean's farmers belong to different communities, this research was developed based in Tropical International Agriculture Center's methodology (CIAT Colombia), also "El Vallecito" Agriculture Research Institute (Gabriel Rene Moreno Autonomous University), specifically the Bean's Program's researchers The trial was established with the randomized complete block design with three replications. The agronomical evaluations were established according to the research's conventional standard and compared with the results of Technology Participatory Evaluation (EPT). EPT show a correlation of r=0.71 in relation with results of conventional research. As a research's result five lines of beans; one of them NEGRO SEN variety which is tolerant to lack of rain. These results show that Participative Research is the best strategy which includes technology's users (farmers, traders) to achieve new varieties.
