The results of measurement of trans-resveratrol in two Vitis vinifera cultivars: Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are presented in this report. These vine varieties were subjected to two different solar ul-traviolet-B (UV-B) radiation levéis: full UV-B and semi attenuated (20% of attenuation) UV-B. These two vineyards are located at 1879 m above sea le-vel (masl) and at the same geographic location. The content of resveratrol in grapes and wines were eva-luated using High Performance Liquid Chromato-graphy (HPLC). Samples under 20% of solar UV-B showed the highest levéis of total resveratrol.
