Abstract
CRUZ MENDOZA, Andrea¹. Evaluation of three lettuce crop varieties (lactuca sativa l.) in two hydroponics systems under semi-controlled environment in the experimental center of chocloca. Rev. Vent. Cient. [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.12, pp. 31-39. ISSN 2305-6010.
Abstract Vegetable production develops in all macro ecoregions of the country, the most important ones are in the Mesopotamian valleys. The population engaged in horticulture is about 500,000 families who have small and medium fields ranging from 1,500 m2 up to 5 ha. The research was carried out in the Experimental Center of Chocloca (CECH) which depends on the Faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences of the University "Juan Misael Saracho". The aim of the work was the evaluation of 3 varieties of lettuce (Great Lakes, White Boston and Grand Rapids TBR) under two hydroponics systems (recirculating irrigation system and floating root system). The experimental design was completely random. The results determined that there are no statistical differences between varieties and systems.
