The constant development of computer science in regard to trie growing of Information systems has resultad in a number of paradigms that allow the achievement of high quality Informaties solutions. Despite of the current techniques and technology used for developing an Information system, this is meaningless if it does not correspond to an analysis and design that solves a specific problem and problem domain sultable for its automation. The development of information systems is a process that follows varlous stages at which varlous tasks are performed.lf these are well developed, they assure that the final product is a real solution to the problem. This article describes the most important aspects of the implementation of an Information systemto solve the problem of the management of reeearch projects at the DICVT Department where the identified problem domain offers the possibility of ralsing an IT solution through an information system that allows information to manage research projects automatically, also offering the abllity to make academic and financial monitoring of research projects and providing timely statistical Information. The necessary analysis piocesses and engineering requliements are detalled in the design stage, the MWM architectural pattern was used; the Frameworks and the APIs used are described in the development stage, Finally, the technology used in the implementation stage is specifled
