The present investigation was conducted with the aim to meet and present to the city of Tarija, as the growth of the city has brought environmental and social problems, such as air pollution and its effects on urban population and in addition to with information to predict what may happen in the future, if no preventive action is taken on the level of air pollution in the city. For as mankind has raised the problem of air pollution presents the evolution of the same in different countries of the world, Europe, USA, South America, Bolivia and the region, justifying the need to carry out a monitoring and diagnosis to establish the basis for future work larger and sustainable over time, and that the UAJMS, whoever it pilotee and help provide this important information to society. The objective of this research is to analyze the degree of pollution of the city of Tarija, to achieve the same is required to purchase high-tech equipment that allowed the status of air pollution in our city, both in the field Industrial, urban and automotive. The results are tabulated and presented in tables and graphs to analyze the degree of contamination in different parts of the city. The research findings highlight the fact that industries contribute to air pollution in the city, this contribution can be reduced by improving the operating conditions, also peaking vehicular movement contributes to environmental pollution but thanks to the city that has many tall buildings makes dissipate or dilute the pollution, so there is no solution to pollution if the city does not grow taking into account environmental issues, this leads to the problem is latent and single best way to save Tarija air pollution, is the education of the population that should start from the kínderes and continue with other levels of the population, besides knowing permanently pollution as presented in the various points of city planning and a concerted manner that respects green area and is designed aeration system in the city.
