SORUCO VELASQUEZ, Elizabeth et al. The attitude of different professionals from Tarija toward the insertion of native languages in their working places. Rev. Vent. Cient. [online]. 2013, vol.1, n.5, pp. 38-47. ISSN 2305-6010.
This research was conducted in order to know the Tarijeños professionals 'attitude, toward the use of native languages in their work places. This concern arose due to the Bolivian New Political State Constitution established that the Bolivian citizen must learn a native language from their region. Since in our city, the most spoken language is Spanish and it coexists with other native languages, such as Guarani, Quechua, Weenhayek, etc., it is necessary to know what the native languageTarijeñoswantto learn is. This work was executed in the city of Tarija, specifically Cercado Province. It was applied a exploratoy-explanatory methodology. The first step taken for this research was the collection of professionals lists registered in their respective associations or school. Then, the sample was established by applying the formula with an error margin of 5%. After that, a questionnaire was submitted to all professionals from the sample. Once the information from the questionnaires was obtained, we proceeded to the analysis and interpretation: so, we arrived to the conclusion that: "The professionals are predisposed to learn native languages, and in this case, Guarani language is chosen in the first place and Quechua in the second"
