Abstract The Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) or "with responsibility" consist of a government direct monetary delivery to beneficiaries, once fulfilled certain conditionalities. One of the conditional cash transfer programs implemented in Bolivia dates back to year 2006, under the name of "Juancito Pinto Bonification" (BJP for its acronym in Spanish), a social policy designed to foster access, permanence, and promotion in public and covenant schools. This research quantifies the magnitude of BJP incidence and finds: a) a positive and highly significative impact on the enrollment rate, on average about 1%; b) a positive and significative impact of BJP on permanence school rate, on average of 1%; c) substantial improvement in the rate of promotion, at around 3,7%, due the BJP. In summary, the 'Juancito Pinto Bonification' meets the objectives set out in the law. JEL Classif¡catión: C23, H53, I21, I38
