Gram-positive cocci are bacteria that form part of the prokaryotic kingdom, which is represented by a set of microorganisms lacking ribosomes, exhibit nuclear membrane and 70s unit. These unicellular microorganisms or micrococci, whose main characteristic is the associated spherical presented differently so that the number of cells and the spherical form adopted called diplococci tetracocos, sarcinas, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus. Similarly classified by the requirement of oxygen present, reflecting three groups of bacteria, which are strictly anaerobic, facultative anaerobic and aerobic. It is very important to know about the pathogenicity of these organisms, because each species has different pathogenicity determinants which enable the bacteria to be capable of producing conditions in a susceptible organism or immunosuppressed
