The perception of beauty has been modified in recent years as a result of stereotypes disseminated by marketing companies, so that cosmetic surgery has become the first choice of society, to change those parts of your body which is not socially identified as beautiful, still face a major regions to be modified. In this sense the jaw surgery, has become a surgical experience frequently observed in Asian regions, trying to define the contour and shape of the face, refine those features runs, and trying to give a thin, triangular and small form as in the ladies or enlarging, modifying and providing harmony in the case of men. This has been proposed numerous surgical alternatives to correct aesthetic or functional mandibular morphology, giving the patient a desired structure and jaw line with personal and social expectations of beauty
