ABSTRACT The antigen -antibody reactions are studied by the immunology, it is originated from biological science of microbiology. The antigen- antibody reaction is also known as immune complex, is a result of contact between an antigen and an antibody, which is characterized by rapid, specific and spontaneous. Contact and bonding will depend upon the adaptation and having both stability and can be modified by external factors such as temperature, pH, and ionic strength, time of incubation, the antigen concentration and antigen antibody structure. These reactions, in turn, are conditioned to certain features such as affinity, avidity and specificity. Effectively determining the complex antibody-antigen reaction different immunoassay techniques are performed, among these the methods are based on the agglutination reaction techniques based on the precipitation reaction, which is based on the reaction of including fluorescence flow cytometry techniques based on reactions marked with radioisotopes, techniques based on the enzymatic reaction, the reaction in Western blot and reaction finally affinity chromatography.
