    ABSTRACT Cáncer is a disease characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in any organ or tissue in the body, and subsequently metastasizes to remote sites resulting in deterioration of the whole organism. This condition occurs regardless of age, gender or race so it is considered one of the diseases that occurs most frequently in the population worldwide with high mortality rates. Consuming foods rich in fiber and poor dairy producís in IGF -I and heterocyclic amines, reduce the likelihood of developing cáncer, so eating healthy foods is recommended in all cases. One of the leading indications at present is the type of food, so it is necessary to know that eating fruits and vegetables, proteins and carbohydrates are useful when the normal amount of these is not exceeded, in addition to avoid consuming unhealthy foods that currently have strong preference in the population, the risk of forgetting these foods as it has been described that could be inducing cáncer cells.
