    Resumen

    The fat-soluble vitamins are a group of organic compounds incapable diluted in water , requiring for their absorption , fatty aggregates. In this way is absorbed from the small intestine . These nutritional vitamins come from sources related to the consumption of vegetables and meats. Their contribution should be sufficient to meet the daily requirement. However, vitamin D , which is part of the chemical complex , requires also be transformed by ultraviolet light to integrate with its homonym absorbed in the intestine and to achieve the desired function. This group of compounds , which are vitamins A, D , E and K , require daily consumption and the benefits to the body are related to the maintenance of an adequate visual function, immune system enhancement , anti-oxidation and membrane protection Mobile and prevention of infectious diseases, so their consumption should be mandatory for all people , especially children in development and women in gestation period of childbearing age.
