Using the genetic identity marker DYS393 of forensic use, by means of PCR it has been evaluated the commercial system “Fecal DNA Purification Kit” from MoBio company for the purification of total DNA, starting from samples of recent grounds, subjected to environmental degradation along 24 hours, preserved at -20ºC, and sampled from thoroughfare. Results showed that the system is efficient in all cases, so much to remove the inhibitors of PCR like to obtain enough quantity of the diminished and remnant human genetic material in the fecal samples, reaching the goal of detecting this genetic identity molecular marker in prospective forensic applications. A quantitative analysis is required.
