Itpresents a newtechnique forelaboration of synthetic indicators. Undera dual viewfrom the data matrix, individuals by variables, the aggregation of heterogeneous variables as unique indicator is solved obtaining two aggregate indicators, a primal for variables and other dual one for individuals; the combined reading of both enriches and expands the possibilities of interpretation. The Methodology admits the possibility of incorporating weights or ponderings both individuals and variables, which greatly promotes the possibilities of analysis and subject coverage. In order to show some possibilities, practices, the new methodology is applied to the development of the Human Development Index (IDH) for countries of America Latina and the Caribbean; one of the results is that the pondering are not the same, contradicting the central assumption in the methodology of IDH elaborated by the PNUD
