Ascaris lumbricoides is an intestinal nematode widely distributed all over the world. It is Ascariasis etiologic agent. Its principal localization is small intestine, overcoat in duodenum. It has an asymptomatic presentation or it also produces vital risk complications, such as, intestinal obstruction which has a frequency from 5% to 35% in endemic zones. Next, we present a clinical case of a 5 years old schoolboy from rural zone with a low socioeconomic situation and second degree nutritional deficiency. He goes into the Ivirgazama Central Hospital Emergency Room and presents a clinical condition with a duration of 3 days that it consists of thermal increased not quantified, abdominal pain, abdominal distention, vomits, absence of gases and a feces output, as well as, he has the antecedent of eliminate an Ascaris by the anus. To physical exploration we found regular general condition with slight pallor, dry skin and mucous, small tachycardia and vital signs within normal parameters, light abdominal distention, positive and hyperactive peristalsis, painful palpation. Nasogastric tube contains digest alimentary material.
