    INTRODUCTION: Medicine Students' lifestyle makes that stress incident in these ones will be bigger than students with a different career. "Burn-out" Syndrome is an emotional condition it accompanies to a stress overload. Little by little, this changes internal motivation, attitudes and conduct. Nowadays, there are investigations whose principal attention are health and education professionals, but there are not investigations which main interest will be Medicine students. This is the principal reason to consider the importance "To know characteristics of Burn-out Syndrome in Medicine students, in U.M.S.S." MATERIALS AND METHODS: We take as a sample 245 medicine students from "Aurelio Melean" Medicine Faculty UMSS, who are registered in the year 2009, bearing in mind Maslach Burn-out's Inventory scale. RESULTS: Burn-out Syndrome appears in 27 % of the cases with more frequency in women, 33% are older than the standard age; only 7 % in student's spouses, 23% in third grade students, 4.15 % are students with more than a year in the same grade and 68 % of cases present emotional exhaustion. CONCLUSIONS: Anybody can suffer Burn-out Syndrome in different degree. We have found some variations such as a biggest frequency in women, third grade students and internal students. In these one there is a tendency to suffer Burn-out Syndrome superior to 50 %.
