Abstract
BARBERA CHACON, Aldo Bernardo and SILES TERAN, Luis Demetrio. Determination of the uncertainty of the results of mechanical traction tests and optical emission spectrometry tests applied to steel. Rev. Met. UTO [online]. 2015, n.37, pp. 32-39. ISSN 2078-5593.
Abstract This paper shows the uncertainty over the results given by the equipment in the Testing Laboratory of the Metallurgical and Science of Materials Engineering Department, specifically the universal testing machine Galdabini Quasar 600 for traction testing and optical emission spectrometer GNR Solaris CDD Plus used to test the chemical composition. The (total) combined uncertainties and expanded (interval) were determined by analyzing all the possible sources of uncertainty detectable that intervene in the measuring process in each equipment.
