Abstract The present article has the purpose of presenting some distinguishing features of the new phenomenology of Hermann Schmitz as partial synthesis of an approach that had its beginning in 2013. First of all, it presents the two evaluations that the philosophy of Hermann Schmitz has had, as a systematic philosophy and as a critical and power ful investigation of the body and affectivity. Secondly the 'old'is differentiated from the new phenomenologies, emphasizing some central concepts and their method. Finally the first application of the neo-phenomenological method to bolivian literary inquiry is briefly presented. The contribution of this article focuses on the thirdpart, since to date the new phenomenology had not made approaches in the field of literature.
