ABSTRACT The conversión of a conventional turret milling machine to automated computer system was performed in this paper. Stepper motors were implemented to replace manual operations, which were placed to the router using clamps specifically designed for this purpose and the use ofa system that can control the motors with the computer. Once we implemented the system, equipment tests were performed, which were the technical evaluation of machined parts and eco-nomic evaluation, in both cases comparing with foreign machines used in the middle. The conclusions states that after testing with the team changed its operating parameters are very like the brand CNC machines, meeting all the general and specific objectives.
