Abstract
NAVIA RIVERA, Carla and MENDOZA TELLEZ, Carola. Clinical Case: Second Upper Retained Promolar Surgical Extraction in Ateenager. Rev. Inv. Inf. Salud [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.28, pp. 30-35. ISSN 2075-6194.
A case was presented for a second right upper retained premolar (Ítem 15), observed in routine radiographic examination, prior to orthodontic treatment. In parallel, an increase in volume was evident on the right palatal mucosa, asymptoma-tic to palpation. At periapical radiographic examination, the piece held upright with the crown at the level of the roots of neighboring parts was observed. To clinical examination was not observed deviation from the midline at the level of upper and lower incisors, so that the specialist alleged the surgi-cal removal of the workpiece to the difficulty of eruption of it.
