Measurement of serum tumor markers is an important method for the best evaluation of cancer patients. There is no existing a 100% sensitive and specific tumor marker. Nevertheless; some of theme are useful in screening, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment evaluation and surveillance in several cancers, and levels change with the clinic state of the disease.
