    Abstract

QUELALI MAMANI, Lorenzo  and  CONDORI TARQUINO, William Milán. Agronomic behavior of nine coffee cultivars (coffea arabica L.) with three types of substrates, in nursery phase, Chijchipani, Municipality of Caranavi - La Paz. CienciAgro [online]. 2018, vol.8, n.1, pp. 76-83. ISSN 2072-1404.

ABSTRACT The research work was carried out with genetic material (8) of coffee cultivars of the Experimental Station Sapecho and typical Creole - witness, with the objective of evaluating the agronomic performance of 9 cultivars of coffee (Coffea arábica L.) with three types of substrates in nursery phase, for vigorous seedlings of quality, which is one of the main factors in the successful establishment of coffee plantations. The germination % to 70 days 8 cultivars recorded an average of 83% and 45% warning light. Height at the first cross and stem diameter not significant among cultivars and substrate, made Duncan test best height of 1.11 cm reached with use of ground oftheforest. The evaluation of the second cross between cultivars there was significance and for stem diameter was not significant, but cultivate castle reflects a better average of 2.71 cm. Height of seedlings to the third cross was significant between cultivars, stalk diameter not significant; at this stage variety registration 5.33 cm castle. For variables width and length of sheet between cultivars, substrates, express significan ce, better behavior record cultivate castle with 5.50 cm in width and length of blade, to root length had better behavior the cultivate creole typical with 18.42 cm. By the study concludes that the coffee cultivars showed a differen-tiated behavior in the three types of substrate, thereby achieving better results under the effect of the type of substrate chicken manure, soil substrate of the ground and husk of achiote respectively.
