Abstract In the last five years, climatechange has strongly impact ed agricultural production systems and has consideraba reduced the food security of several populations aífected by floods and droughts in different ecological zones in Bolivia. In order to propose alternative systems, the degree of resilience of the productive units is not known, which is why this study evaluated the qualitative and quantitative resilience, its absorption, adaptation and transformation capacities of the agroforestry systems in the Amazon region; agriculture under irrigation in the high valleys; andsemi-intensive livestock in the Bolivian Chaco promoted by the Centro de Investigation y Promoción delCampesinado. The results showthatthe global resilience indexes obtained for each of the agricultural systems reveal that the evaluated productive units that implement agroecological technologies are significantly moie resilient than those that do notinte grate thesetechnologies: Charagua - Semi-intensive livestock systems (0.72), Charagua extensive livestock systems (0.48), Anzaldo - Irrigation agriculture systems (0.71), Anzaldo - rainfed agriculture systems (0.49), Puerto Gonzalo Moreno - Agroforestry systems (0.69) and Puerto Gonzalo Moieno conventional systems (0.47).
