GOMALES ITURRI, Andrei. Difference in growth and development of Raphanus sativus (Brassicaceae) plantea infour moon phases. CienciAgro [online]. 2014, vol.3, n.1, pp. 39-50. ISSN 2072-1404.
Ancient cultures suggest Lunar periodicity on matter and its application on crops which for years was the subject of controversy regarding its effects, however there is a significant number of publications that support the existence of such influence in some eukaryotic species and inanimate matter that in the future we will créate more useful answers. The influence of lunar phases on variables representing the growth, development and germination of radish (Raphanus sativus) was evaluated, controlling confounding factors; Control plants were not used because it is not possible to isolate the forcé of lunar gravity. The results show that there is no difference in the percentage of germination by moon phase. The variable of Ground biomass with a P valué = 0.015, suggest a better quality production on Raphanus sativus if is planted in New Moon. There confounding factors for discover and stays still in controversy whether the lunar periodicity influence works individually or if expressed, strengthens or depends on presence of other cosrnic variables
