Abstract This research is a descriptive correlational study about confronting levels and emotional self-efficacy levels on parents of children with cancer. In it to 55 parents of Hospital del Niño Dr. Ovidio Aliaga Uría of city La Paz-Bolivia selected from a snowball sampling and non-probabilistic, the questionnaires Coping Strategies Inventory (IEA) and Emotional Self-Efficacy Scale (SEA) were administered. A significant correlation between both variables was not found (R= 0.217; p= 0.112). Regarding the differences interms of socio-demographic variables, there is no significance level except for the people who live with responding to moderate level of coping.
