The article refers to the Regional Archives of Oruro, one of the most modern archival repositories in Bolivia, de-pendent on the National Mining Historical Archive of the Bolivian Mining Corporation, created by DS. 27490 of May 14, 2004, which gave rise to the COMIBOL Archive System, with its Regional components in Oruro, Potosí, La Paz, Pulacayo and Catavi. The Oruro Regional Archive began its work in 2009, with the concentration of documen-tary collections of "General Stores of COMIBOL" and the mining centers of the Department of Oruro. It protects documentation from the times of Simón I. Patiño, Mauricio Hochschild and the Compañía Minera de Oruro, from the Chilean magnates Enrique and Melchor Concha y Toro, and documents from the Bolivian Mining Corporation (1952). Custody and preserve your documentation; It serves the Corporación Minera de Bolivia, public and private institutions and the general public. The methodology applied in the organization of its documentary collections is based on the postulates of Integrated Document Management, the systemic approach, the principle of the documentary continuum and the use of technological tools, to advance in electronic government.
